Before you begin:

• You need to be online to complete the setup.

  You can either use your mobile data plan or configure it in advance while connected to another trusted network, for example at home.

• Have your eduroam login credentials ready.

  If you have not yet set your eduroam password or cannot remember it, log in to https://ldap.cuni.cz and, in the left-hand menu under Additional accounts / Set password for eduroam realm cuni.cz, create a new password or check the one currently set. The CAS password does not work here. More information is available there.

  
  

Setup procedure:

1. Install the geteduroam app on your phone:

or scan the QR code with your phone:

2. On the page that opens, check that the correct application is selected and tap Install:

3. After installation, tap Open:

4. In the list of institutions, find and select either Charles University or Univerzita Karlova:

5. If you see the network name eduroam in the list of Wi-Fi networks on your phone, use eduroam. If you usually see eduroam-cuni in the list of networks, select that profile. In most cases the network is called eduroam. Then tap Connect.

6. Enter your eduroam login credentials and tap Log In:

Tip: If you are unsure what these credentials are, you can find more information there. The username has the format your_personal_number@cuni.cz (e.g. 12345678@cuni.cz)

7. Tap Save to add the eduroam profile to your device:
