Door access systems for buildings of the Charles University

The system of securing entrance into the buildings of the Charles University has a ‘building block’ structure with well-defined open interfaces. This enables its part-by-part implementation by functional units, interactive expansion, and extension based on the needs of individual faculties and parts of the Charles University. The system is also designed in such a way that failures on higher levels do not lead to failures on lower, subordinate levels. The system has two basic parts: access system and cameras.
