On the website https://ldap.cuni.cz/idportal/reset you fill in the details of your account so we can find you in the database:

CU ID personal number, login name, verified personal email or phone number; Alternatively, give us your name, surname, and date of birth. Then just press the Proceed button.

From the available options, choose State (or commercial) verified and trusted identity and click “Proceed.

You will be redirected to the Czech portal for logging in using the citizen identity. Here, it is first necessary to switch to the English language in the top right.

Now choose the IIG – International ID GW option.

Now, you can choose the right option according to your home country/nationality which has the citizen identity available.

The selected option will take you to the national citizen identity portal (here is an example of Spain).

Next, you follow the authentication procedure of the corresponding identity verification portal in your country. By the end, you will be asked to agree with releasing of your personal data. Please, confirm your choice.

After successful identification, you are redirected back to the university portal and asked to enter a new password (the new password must be repeated to avoid typos). Press the Submit button to finish setting the new password.
