Personal certificates

            Students and employees with an account in the CAS of the Charles University [ URL "UVTEN-3

            free of charge, acquire personal certificates from the TCS certification authority, which 
            most browsers without any further configuration. In order to acquire a certificate, users 
            following conditions:

            • Have a verified password in the CAS of the Charles University.
            • Have a verified e-mail address [ URL "https://ldap1.cuni.cz/language/switch?lang=en"] in
              the Charles University (verification must be at most 6   months old). This address is sa

              certificate.
            Personal certificates can be used to log into certain services, to sign and encrypt e-mail

            password in the CAS without first entering the old password.
